ONLINE PRESENTATIONS
Aegis IT loves to give back to the local community. Jonathan has given presentations with various organizations over the years. Some of these talks have been recorded and are posted on YouTube. We are actively looking for additional speaking opportunities, especially since many venues have moved to online meetings. Here are some of our recent speaking engagements:
1. LOPSA – LOPSA is a professional networking group for IT professionals. We attend the meetings at the local Knoxville chapter. The current meetings are all held online. The local meeting link is found here. This particular presentation is called Customer Service for Technical People. This is a more casual presentation to a group of peers in the IT industry.
2. VHSBI – The Virginia Highlands Small Business Incubator in Abingdon, VA provides resources for local businesses in the region. This presentation is on using LinkedIn to help you find a job. This presentation targets those actively looking for jobs that might not have considered LinkedIn as an option, or who do not know how to use the platform for job searching.
3. Virginia Community Capital – VCC helps a variety of businesses with resources in all aspect of business. This presentation focuses on preventing IT disasters and recovering from IT disasters. This is a formal presentation targeting other business owners and managers concerned about IT security and disaster recovery issues.
